Our Story
Built by Nomad People
We didn't start as a parts company. We started as Tri-Five owners who couldn't find parts that actually fit — so we made our own.
How Lomad Nomads Started
The 1955–1957 Chevrolet Tri-Five is one of the most iconic American cars ever built. The Nomad wagon, in particular, is a rare and special machine — and keeping one on the road requires parts that simply don't exist off the shelf.
Lomad Nomads was born out of frustration. Our founder spent years hunting down gas struts, brackets, and liftgate hardware for his own Nomad restoration, only to find that most available parts were poorly made, wrong-spec, or just didn't exist. So he started making them himself.
What began as a personal project became a small production run for friends in the community. Word spread. Demand grew. Today, Lomad Nomads supplies Tri-Five owners, restoration shops, and dealers across the country with parts we're proud to put our name on.
What We Stand For
Fit First
Every part we make is spec'd against real Tri-Five vehicles. If it doesn't fit right, we don't sell it.
Built to Last
We use materials and finishes that hold up to decades of use — not just long enough to clear a warranty period.
Community Driven
We're active in the Tri-Five community. Our best product ideas come from the people who use them.
No Runaround
Small team, direct answers. When you contact us, you talk to someone who knows these cars.
Tri-Five Expertise
We Know These Cars
Gas struts, liftgate hinges, brackets, and hardware for the 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, 210, 150, and Nomad. We've studied the factory specs, the common failure points, and the restoration challenges that come with 70-year-old vehicles. That knowledge goes into every part we make.
